Minecraft is an open-world game (originally indie open-world game) that was created by the Swedish programmer Markus “Notch” Persson and by his company Mojang, which was sold in September 2014 for 2.5 billion dollars (approx Billion euros) was bought by the Microsoft group, was published and is still being developed today. The game was first released on May 17, 2009 for PC, but was still in the development phase, which included the alpha, beta and other versions. Mojang released additional versions for iOS, Android and the Raspberry Pi.
